Hello and welcome to a PAHouseLink.com video walkthrough. My name is Steve and I’ll be your guide as we take a look at one of our foreclosure properties in Philadelphia, PA.
In this video we are at 6137 Jefferson St Philadelphia PA 19151. This property is a 2-story duplex with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms split evenly between the 2 units. There is also a full basement that can only be accessed by the ground floor unit. The buildings total square footage is 1,740 while the lot is 1,492.
This one needs significant work, though it’s mostly cosmetic. The bathrooms and kitchens involve the most work and should be updated to bring them up to today’s standards. Overall this property is a solid investment with plenty of potential as a rental.
Alright, let’s get started…
Out front we take a look at the surrounding area. The front porch is large and sits in the shade, providing a great place for relaxation or a play space for the children.
Let’s start the interior tour by entering the right door, taking us into the first floor unit. Through the front door we head into the living room. To the left at the start of the hall we have bedroom 1. At the other end of the hall is bedroom 2. Next door is the full bathroom. Then the dining room. And at the back is the kitchen with access outback. Also, the first floor has access to the full basement which houses the utilities for the property.
Now let’s head up stairs to unit 2, which is set up almost exactly the same as unit 1. At the top of the stairs we make a hard right and enter the living room. There’s a door around the wall here that allows access to the second story porch. Next is bedroom 1 immediately to the left. Down the hall is bedroom 2. Followed by the bathroom. At the end of the hall we come to the dining room. And at the back of the house is the kitchen, which has a door that leads to a fire escape and access to the back of the house.
