Hello and welcome to a PAHouseLink.com video walkthrough. My name is Steve and I’ll be your guide as we visit one of our coming soon foreclosure properties.
In this video we are heading out to 37 Chestnut St Pottstown PA 19464. The property is located in the Pottstown Boro of Montgomery county, and is part of the Pottstown school district. The house itself is a 2,166 square foot 3-story duplex with a total of 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms evenly split between the two units. The lot for the property is 3,500 square feet.
This is a coming soon video which means the property has not been cleaned out yet. There is plenty of trash around at the moment, but don’t worry, because that will all be gone soon. We will have another video up after the clean out. Aside from the trash, this property requires significant rehab work. Expect to replace carpets and walls in a few rooms. This is a great investment property, so don’t let minor defects turn you away when there is so much potential.
That’s enough for the introduction, let’s take a real look at it now…
Starting outside we take a look at the neighborhood and front of the house. Through the small alley next to the house we can reach the backyard. The yard is relatively large but could use a little landscaping.
For the interior we are heading into the first floor unit first. As we head through the foyer we enter the living room. To the right is bedroom 1. Down the hall we enter the eat-in kitchen which has access to the side porch we passed outside. From the kitchen we can enter bedroom 2, which is connected to bedroom 3 through this door here. Back out through the kitchen we can enter the unfinished basement which can only be accessed internally through the first floor, though there are exterior doors as well. Our last stop for this unit is the full bathroom.
Let’s head back outside and down the alley to reach unit two. Immediately to our right as we reach the top of the stairs is the kitchen. Next to that we have the full bathroom for this unit. Down the hall is bedroom 1. Here we have the living room. And here we have bedroom 2. Our final stop for this unit and the property is bedroom 3 on the third floor. There is plenty of storage up here as well.
